Site launch

The website is up. It runs on the same Hetzner box as the MC server and Discord bot — no extra hosting, no extra moving parts. A few things you can do today:

What works now

• Live server status — the home page pings the MC server every 15 seconds and shows online players with their heads.
• Patch notes — this page. New entries land in content/patch-notes/ as MDX and deploy with the rest of the site.
• Wiki — per-plugin reference for our custom Paper plugins.
• Faction power bars — pulled directly from the larptracker database.
• Donate / Vote — outbound links to Tebex and the vote sites.

What's coming

• Live event ticker — once the bot's SSE endpoint ships, raids and bounty events show up here in real time.
• Discord login — link your account, view your AP/level/faction, see your apartment(s), edit your character bio.
• Lore archive — auto-archived faction battles and bounty kills, plus long-form curated arcs.

Why a website

Because half the questions in #help are "what does this plugin do" or "where do I vote." Now there's one place to send people.

TADC season kickoff

The new season is here. We're running The Amazing Digital Circus theme until the next rotation drops.

What's new

• Seven character skins from the cast — pick yours via the wardrobe NPC at spawn
• Reworked spawn building styled as the circus tent
• New OST track in the resource pack: "Welcome to the Show"
• A hidden questline kicks off when you find Pomni — no spoilers

Faction balance pass

We tuned siphon rates so the Sillys can stop snowballing. Numbers in the FactionWar wiki page.

Bounty system revamp

Bounties used to pay flat. That created a meta where players would farm alts to drain treasuries. New formula:

• Base payout still set by the bounty placer
• Multiplied by min(1.0, target.kd_last_7d / 1.5)
• Capped at 2× the placed amount

What this means in practice: bounties on actually-dangerous players pay full freight. Bounties on alts pay pennies.

Other tweaks

• Bounty kill notifications now show in #larp-relay
• Killer's faction gets a 10% bonus when they're at war with the target's faction
